our history
Our story started with my father, a longtime flooring installer who spent years dealing with one of the most frustrating parts of the job: staircases and stair noses that simply did not do the job they were supposed to do. One Christmas Eve, he called my brother and me over to show us a solution he had been working on. His garage looked like a mad scientist’s lab, with machines he had built himself, different testing areas, heating, pressure, and every kind of experiment you could imagine. At the time, I did not fully understand the flooring industry the way I do today, but I knew he was onto something. He dreamed of taking his idea to Texas, but his businesses in Florida never gave him the opportunity. So I decided to take the leap, leave everything behind, move to Texas, and turn an idea that hardly anyone had heard of into something meaningful. Five years later, we had built a major operation in Texas and helped hundreds of installers, builders, business owners, and homeowners. Along the way, my wife and I built a family of our own, and we never lost sight of our dream of eventually calling Kentucky home. Now we are here, and I am excited to keep doing what I love, build on what my father started, and help Kentucky stair smarter.

It wraps cleanly around the existing extended tread, giving you a sharp, seamless finish without the bulky look of traditional stairnose profiles. Pair it with white risers and the result is stunning: clean lines, a modern finish, and a staircase that looks custom built from the start. Simple, sleek, and made to make your stairs stand out.
Meet the Short Snout Design, our most versatile stairnose profile yet. With a shorter lip than the Quad, it is designed to work beautifully with extended treads, shorter treads, or even stairs with little to no overhang. It still delivers that signature wrapped around look, giving you a clean, modern finish while opening up more possibilities for different stair designs.
